Hi, I'm Laurel! 

I am happy to be on the Dance Alive Team!

I work in the Dance Alive Office and keep everything running smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. I have a positive “can do” attitude, am happy to do what is needed, and love working with everyone on this moving and dynamic team!

I have a BA in Sociology with a focus in Social Welfare from California State University, Northridge.

I grew up in Los Angeles and spent my high school years in Monterey, CA. This is where my movement journey began. I was drawn to many healing modalities which sprouted my next step in studying Social Welfare in college. I loved learning about human nature and human interactions.

I am so happy to have found Dance Alive, a place where I can come and awaken part of me that I never knew I could access.
Not only is this exploration and discovery supported, it is 100% encouraged!

I spend my free time cooking, gardening, listening to podcasts & watching films. Most of all, I love adventuring and snuggling with my two incredible, beautiful dogs Rover and Kuma.

I love working on the Dance Alive team, and I have learned so much through my studies and work with Dance Alive!
