Cancellation of Weekly Classes 24 hr cancellation policy 24+ hrs cancellation, your account will be credited for future use. Less than 24 hr cancellation, a class on your account will be used, as if you had attended. (For Inner Rhythms you'll still get your 7 day replay)!
Please be respectful of Dance Alive and other students when signing up, and wait to sign up until you know you can be there, so spots are available for students who will be there.

Cancellation of Take Charge Now Whether you choose to pay in full or pay monthly, you are financially responsible for all 7 months, whether or not you attend all 7 sessions, as you are purchasing a spot in the series.
TAKE CHARGE NOW LEADERSHIP TRAINING “A LA CARTE” Space is limited, and must be confirmed by the office. Registration through office, and payment prior to class is required.
A La Carte Registration $125/1st time only $150/single a la carte Registration must be made through the office via phone, email or online prior to attendance.
Cancellation of TCN A La Carte You need to cancel 14 days or more in advance of any given TCN single day enrollment to receive credit of $150 to your account for future use in Intensives, TCN Days (a la carte), Workshops, or Weekly Classes (not Private Training Sessions or Focus Pods). Cancellations made with less than 14 days advance notice will be charged in full with no credit.

Space is limited. To guarantee your spot in the empowerment pods, advanced registration is required.
Registration Contact the office via phone or email to register.
Payment: $225 per Pod/per month. You will be charged the 1st of each month.
Minimum 6 month commitment. You have a spot in the pod you are signed up for. Your spot will not be filled once the 6 month series is over unless you choose to not continue. You will be offered your spot before it is offered to anyone else.
Absences: You may sublet your spot to another Dance Alive Student upon approval of Mariane Karou. You may sub your pod 1x every 6 month cycle. You are responsible for your payment to Dance Alive.
Empowerment Pod Requirement *Approval by Mariane Karou *8 hr of Dance Alive movement training per month.
Change in Pod Monthly Payment Type $15 fee per change
Appointment Time Reserved Once you have an established, recurring time slot, we will not fill your time slot with someone else. If you no longer want your time slot, please notify the Dance Alive Office asap.
Substitution You may substitute your time slot with another Dance Alive student who is available to fill your spot, upon approval of Your Dance Alive Coach. This student would need to have a phone session, unless another established location is set and agreed upon by your Dance Alive Coach. If someone subs your Private Session, the office will now adjust payment. We will cancel your Private Session in MBO, and charge your sub. This is because pricing for each individual session varies based on the student's package. (*This Policy if for Private Sessions ONLY, not for Pods). You can substitute a reasonable amount (amount determined by your Dance Alive Coach). *No Substitutes for Private Sessions with Mariane Karou
Cancellation Dance Alive cancellation policy for Private Sessions is 48 hours. All cancellations must be made in writing via text or e-mail to your Dance Alive Coach. For recurring weekly Private Sessions, you can cancel 2x per 6 month period. For recurring 1x month or 2x month Private Sessions, you can cancel 1x per 6 month period. This is a courtesy that we provide to be used for emergency purposes only.
Vacation Times Your Dance Alive Coach will let you know 2 weeks in advance prior to any vacation time she will be taking off. Notify your Dance Alive Coach at least 2 weeks prior to any vacation time you are taking off. There will be no charge as long as you notify us 2 weeks in advance.
Location All locations must be approved by Mariane Karou and established at time of booking session.
Location Change If you want to change your location, you must text or e-mail your Dance Alive Coach 24 hours prior to the start of your session, and receive confirmation that this location is agreeable. Otherwise, meet at the original location. Location of appointment will be confirmed via confirmation text or email. If switching from in person to phone, notify your Dance Alive Coach before 7am on the day of your session.
Automatic Enrollment is available for the following programs:
1) Weekly "Ride the Wave" and "Inner Rhythms" Classes a. Contact the Dance Alive Office to Sign Up for Auto Enroll for Weekly "Ride the Wave" and/or "Inner Rhythms" Classes. (You must be enrolled in Take Charge Now or Empowerment Pod Programs, or be a consistent student who comes to class every week). b. You are automatically enrolled in "Ride the Wave" and/or "Inner Rhythms" weekly classes, and do not need to sign up online. c. Your credit card on file will be charged to purchase a new Weekly Class Series, when your current series is used up. d. To cancel your reservation for a weekly class, cancel by logging on to your Mind Body Online account as soon as you know you will not be in attendance, and cancel your reservation, to make this space available to other students. e. If you cancel 24 hours or more prior to the start of class, your account will be credited for class. f. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the start of class, a class will be deducted from your package, as if you had attended. g. If you do not cancel and do not come to class, a class will be deducted from your account, and you will be charged an additional fee of $20. (This is because you are holding a space in class and people who are waiting to get in won’t be able to come into class).
2) 4 hr Workshops Auto-Enroll “Ride the Wave” & “Inner Rhythms” a. Contact the Dance Alive Office to Sign Up for Auto Enroll for Monthly "Ride the Wave" and/or "Inner Rhythms" workshops. b. You are automatically enrolled in "Ride the Wave" and/or "Inner Rhythms" workshops, and do not need to sign up online or through the office. c. Your credit card on file will be charged to purchase a new 4 hr Workshop Series, when your current series is used up. d. To cancel your reservation for a Sunday "Ride the Wave" and/or "Inner Rhythms" workshops, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you know you will not be in attendance, to cancel your reservation, and to make this space available to other students. e. If you cancel 7 days or more prior to the start of the workshop, your account will be credited for the workshop. f. If you cancel less than 7 days prior to the start of the workshop, a workshop will be deducted from your package, as if I had attended.
3) Intensives Auto-Enroll a. Contact the Dance Alive Office to Sign Up for Auto Enroll for Intensives. b. You are automatically enrolled in Intensives, and do not need to sign up online or through the office. c. Your credit card on file will be charged 14 days prior to the Intensive. d. To cancel your reservation for an Intensive, e-mail email@example.com as soon as you know you will not be in attendance, to cancel your reservation, and to make this space available to other students. e. If you cancel 14 days or more prior to the start of the Intensive, your account will be credited for the Intensive. f. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the start of the Intensive, you will be charged as if you had attended.
CANCELLATIONS/ REFUNDS/ CREDIT
There will be no refunds if you cancel your registration for any Dance Alive event. You may transfer your credit to your account for use at another time only if you have communicated via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org within the time frames outlined in each of the above Program Policies.
The Late Payment Policy will apply to all payments for services, whether you are paying by credit card, cash or check. If you have not paid for services you have signed up for according to the terms described below, a 10% Late Fee will be added to the original payment amount due, and a 1.5% per month interest charge will be added for any unpaid balances that are at least one month old. All payment for services are due prior to services rendered. Payment due dates are specific to each program (specified below):
Terms describing when your payment is due:
TCN Monthly Payment - 1st day of the month preceding the next TCN meeting. If TCN is on July 15th, your payment is due on June 1st. Empowerment Pod - 1st day of the month preceding the next Pod. If your pod is on August 5th, payment is due on July 1st. Private Private Sessions - 48 Hours ahead of your next scheduled session. Weekly Classes - At the time of registration. If you are on auto-renew, as soon as your previous series card has been used up. Workshops - At the time of registration. Intensives - At the time of registration.
Credit card payments declined: If you have given us your credit card information, and have agreed that we can automatically charge your card to pay for Classes, Workshops, Private Sessions, Empowerment Pods, and/or Take Charge Now, and if your credit card is declined for payment, we will send you an e-mail notice at the moment the card is declined. It is your responsibility to make arrangements to reconcile the declined charge, either by providing an alternate credit card number, transferring sufficient funds to your bank account, or arranging to bring cash or a check in person. If you do not reconcile the unpaid charge within 72 hours of the time the charge was initially declined, we will add a late fee to your amount due, equal to 10% of the declined charge. Any unpaid balances more than one month old will incur an additional 1.5% interest charge per month.
It is your responsibility to:
Ensure that we have the most up to date e-mail address and phone number for you.
Make sure that you are receiving our e-mails (regularly checking your e-mail, checking your spam folder, etc). Late fees will not be excused if you tell us that you never received the e-mail.
Let us know as soon as you find out if your card stored on file with us is no longer valid because it is lost, stolen, expired or anything else.
Maintain sufficient funds in your account so that charges are not declined.
